We, Caoilfhionn and Gabriel, Baroness and Baron of Nordskogen, invite all fencers to participate in our tournament to name the next Baronial Rapier Champion at Sharp Pointy Things on September 30!
Anyone may participate in the tourney, but those who wish to be considered for the championship must add themselves to the list at the list table. The new Baronial Champion will be chosen based on this tourney in addition to prowess and comportment observed over the entire event, both on and off the field. Skill, as indicated by tourney results, will be one factor but not the only factor in Their Excellencies’ evaluation.
Competitors who live beyond the barony’s borders may enter, so long as they are willing to fill the champion’s duties of promoting rapier in Nordskogen, representing the barony on the field, and attending the baronage in court when able.
The winner will be announced during evening court on Saturday.
